2021 . Second lockdown.

Staring down the lists of infinite inspiration,

Passed my days through these stationary months.

The past few months I decided to build my works in sets. This trained me to work with certain pre-decided characteristics which is a bit challenging to channel consistently in ceramic but, that was the whole point.

I found it difficult to be roped in by one inspiration, perhaps that is why I couldn’t get myself to build more than two to three similar works of one family. I wonder if this arbitrary method of jumping from one focus to a completely another defines how I work or it is just a phase that is mimicking the current, unstable nature of things. A deep-focused investment seemed almost reckless in so much uncertainty.
