VESSELS 2024

I spend several months each year exploring the creative potential of the vessel form in my work. With every new collection, I see my skills evolve as fresh ideas come to life. Vessels have become a key way for me to express and communicate concepts, refined through a strong understanding of form, which I attribute to my background in Design.

Over time, I've come to see these pieces as sculptural forms that challenge and broaden the traditional idea of containment. In my view, these vessels are philosophical objects—not designed to hold physical contents, but to shape the space around them. This shift invites the viewer to move from being a passive observer to an active participant, absorbing these forms into their own perception and understanding.

The hand-building process spans weeks, with each vessel requiring over seven days of meticulous construction and a month to reach its final manifestation. While most of my works are intended as stand-alone sculptures, they can be used in a minimal dry flower arrangements, if desired.
